This is the vision. This is the moment.

In 2014, at just 14 years old, Chance Wilson noticed many of his peers in school were unable to read and write. He launched the Wilson Global Initiative (WGI) to help his peers and others like them become literate and succeed.

Over the next decade, WGI partnered with global icons like GE, Coca-Cola, and HBO to teach thousands of people to read and write across continents. Now, we’re building the next chapter.

With our literacy game Lyra we’re aiming to teach one billion children to read—through immersive storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and unforgettable learning experiences.

Watch how it all began and where it’s going.
